Easter Egg-stra!

Hi, I thought I would share some more of my cards with you as I have been quite busy making two Mothers Day cards, my Dads 80th Birthday card an Engagement card and some Easter cards, also some Invitations for the Easter Egg Hunt I am organising for my Grandchilren who range from under one to 13yrs old {obviously the baby wont be running round the garden!) As well as an Egg Hunt there are Paper Windmills to put together and Biscuits to make and ice. If this all goes as well as our session making marzipan Penguins before Christmas I will be Eggs-tremely pleased!(Sorry can't resist :) We are having it on Sunday as that is the only day we can all
get together.
This card on the left is one of my favourites and from a papermania kit as is the one below it. The one with the cat was for an Aunts Birthday as she loves cats and has a few of her own.
.As I am having a few technical problems with this (ie I can't seem to place the photographs and text quite as I want to) tonight I am going to sign off.

Easel Card

Easel Card
Twisted Easel Card

Hi, I gather I'm not unusual in setting up a blog and then not posting straight off. But I have now got some pictures of some of my cards that I have been making! (see above) Back in February my friend treated me for my Birthday to not one but two tickets to The Stitch and Creative Craft Show in Brighton where we saw Jenny Mayes (Hobbycraft) demonstrating her watercolour and stamping techniques. I spent way too much but Boy! did we have a great time.I made this from a Special Offer of Kanban toppers which I've noticed http://www.crackajacks.co.uk/ do for a reasonable price.

Lost and Found!

Don't laugh I set this blog up in the middle of the night a few days ago(over a week anyway) and then promptly lost it! Couldn't get back to it anyhow,so I was about to start over and hey presto here I am......and then my battery started dying.Doh! So now I'm standing in the corner of my kitchen. Having said that......
My intention for starting the blog was to chart my newish journey in cardmaking and the reason for the name was having the spare room become available much to the chagrin of my sister(sorry Jan x) who still has all her family at home. I realised after I'd chose the name that perhaps I sounded more experienced than I am. I've always crafted ie knitted, sewed, done dried flowers etc but just over a year ago bought some Forever Friends sets and hey ho I was bitten but compared to Jan I'm very much a beginner and most of what I do is not my own designs, Magazines being a lot of inspiration but hopefully ideas are starting to come. This week I will start to upload some of my cards as long as I can find my way back!
